Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Arnside has a delightful character all of its own, ensuring that many visitors venture no further than a few miles away. However we are ideally placed for the Lake District, with Windermere only about 30 minutes away by car, whilst North Lancashire and the Yorkshire Dales are also easily accessible.The railway station in Arnside is just a 10 minute walk away.

With a truly superb outlook over the estuary to the Lakeland hills beyond, sunsets are often stunning.
